"Do What You Love and You Will Never Work a Day in Your Life"

It's true. So true. And last night, I was finally able to realize it. The MAV fundraiser fashion show was a success and I'm so glad I got to be a part of it as the official stylist of the night for Adapt Clothing. I'm soooooo tired from being on my feet from 3pm-3am but I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. The models looked fly, and the show went on without a hitch. I will definitely give you more deets when the pics come in. Thanks Evan for trusting me with your designs, and Kris for suggesting the purple pants lol. I cannot fucking wait to throw my own show soon :)

Are you a biter or a writer?

;p

Can you check your email? I need to know where to get that!

(P.S. Blogger keeps giving an OpenID error. I had to create a blog just to post. I have had to publish like 10 times to get one comment to go through):

These are quite drab clothing. So easy to style.Nothing that makes you go "WOW!".Maybe it was the model or both.Do some layers, add complexity, add touches that dont make you think "oh that's just a necklace with a dress and a belt".I love your Polyvore steezy though!

@anonymous i agree! and actually, i was going to elaborate on the situation in my next post which i'm about to write after i leave this response lol. if i was given a budget i could've done sooo much, but unfortunately, i wasn't. almost everything on the models are clothes and accesories i already owned, and of course i could only use what would fit. (i'm 5'00" and these girls were 5'9" and up gah!). and i did want to add some jackets/cardigans/etc. but they didn't want to take away from the t-shirts. But thank u for the constructive criticism, as u can see though from my Poly I could've done sooo much more! *sigh* cute in gwen stefani's "if i were a rich girl" na na na na na na na na na!
